I suspect that the Jackson's have sent crooklyn millions of dollars over the decades. I would think that the powers that be are cognant enough to know that they need to reach out to this particular grieving mother. I see no reason why jw's in the congregation that Mrs. Jackson attends would not be there for her or any other jw would hesitate to send her a card. What kind of a witness would be given if Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and some Muslim clerics show up and no jw's make an apperance? Maybe some Los Angeles posters will provide a few stories.

tracts at the gas station pump

on my lunch break i went to get some gas before i went to pickup a sub at subway.

i noticed that there were some tracts (in spanish) in the credit card application holding slot and just had to throw them away.

i felt sooooo good doing it too.. has anyone ever thrown away wts tracts or magazines that you've seen in a public place???.

I write freeminds.org on literature I come across in public areas. I know that all I'm accomplishing is feeding some witness' persecution complex, but what the heck. I would like to hear what is said when the witness who puts the rags out comes back and finds my handiwork though.

!......................thats what jehovah`s witness parents,tell the outside world..my parents did.......the fact is..i did want to have a birthday party..i did want to get toys at christmas..i did want a tree with all the lights..i did want to go to the school christmas party..i did want to hunt for chocolate eggs at easter................tell that to your jw parents and you`ll get an ass-whopp`n..........i told my aunt i loved christmas,she always got me something...my aunt told my mom.....mom was not happy.......i did`nt support the jehovah`s witness lie....i paid the price..............when you were a jehovah`s witness kid,did you want to participate in celebrations?

The reason the wbts forbids celebrating Christsmas, birthdays, etc is that the wbts eliminates anything that competes with the wbts primary objective of sell, sell, SELL! It is all about controling the distribution network.

To answer the question, anybody who claims that witness kids don't miss celebrating key events in life is a stark, raving lunatic.

Keep in mind that cougars are predatory by nature and one must be careful if a cougar is in the area. Tragically, sometimes they end up being shot.

I read that story about Flint. The population has really crashed their. I get a bit nervous anytime the Feds want to step in though. I read another story out of Michigan about counties unpaving some roads and going back to gravel to save money. That has to be unpopular with the people who are affected.

I've met a few people from the board while traveling on my bike. Last summer's swing through Missouri was really good. I met up with uninformed again (we had met the summer before when I made my Colorado trip. Met Gary Busselman on that trip also) and went out for drinks and dinner with robdar and a blond woman whose name I can't recall at the moment. Uninformed and I went to a Royals game the next day and had an awesome time. I met crazy blonde deb on that trip (she isn't really crazy) who invited me to her house for dinner. Met her daughter and grandbaby also. I had coffee with Snakes at a really nice coffee shop just out of St Louis and I had dinner with a very nice couple in Illinois. I would have to look in my notebook to recall their names and where exactly I met them. Anyway, if you go on road trips put the word out on the board. People from here are really hospitable.

I'm feeling the urge to hit the road again. I'll start calling those trips apostarides.

My neighbor's daughter hung herself

when i got home from work tonight i was told my neighbor's daughter had commited suicide.

the daughter lived several hours from here and i had only met her a couple of times over the years, so i didn't know her at all really.

from what i understand the daughter had struggled with substance abuse problems for a long time.

I noticed that too, purps.

I went over to my visit with my neighbor this evening. The funeral for her daughter was this morning. Today also happens to be another one of her daughter's birthday so they were having a birthday celebration for her when I stopped by. Rather surreal. What a day they had.
